Little Rock, AR — June 10, 2025 — MedEvolve, the leading provider of revenue cycle automation and analytics technology for healthcare organizations, is pleased to announce that Matt Seefeld has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. Matt Rolfes, who has led the company as CEO since 2017, will continue to serve as Chief Financial Officer, ensuring continued financial strength and operational continuity.
Matt Seefeld, a nationally recognized thought leader in revenue cycle management (RCM), is the visionary behind MedEvolve’s Effective Intelligence® Suite of workflow automation and AI-powered analytics solutions. These solutions help healthcare organizations improve financial performance by tracking and measuring every touch and action taken to adjudicate a claim to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce manual work, and increase accountability across the revenue cycle.
“Matt Seefeld is the right leader for MedEvolve’s future,” said Dr. William F. Hefley, Jr. MD, founder and Chairman of the Board. “He’s not only a visionary—he’s a proven operator who understands the complex challenges facing healthcare executives today. With his deep expertise and passion for innovation, I’m confident he’ll take MedEvolve to new heights.”
Seefeld joined MedEvolve in 2017 and most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, overseeing all go-to-market strategy and revenue operations. With more than 25 years of experience in healthcare consulting and technology development, he has transformed revenue cycle operations for MedEvolve clients and the company itself. He previously founded Interpoint Partners and led it through acquisition by Streamline Health. His career also includes consulting roles at Stockamp & Associates, PwC, and Deloitte.
“I am honored to step into the CEO role at a time when healthcare organizations are under immense pressure to claw back lost margin,” said Matt Seefeld. “The ability to track every touch in the revenue cycle and reduce wasted work effort is no longer an option; it’s a requirement for sustainable healthcare businesses. I look forward to continuing to work with our incredible team to drive new innovations and expand our vision across the industry.”
Under Seefeld’s guidance, the company has already established new revenue cycle benchmarks that focus on the human generated data which provider organizations cannot access through their existing PM or EHR system. This new data set empowers MedEvolve’s Effective Intelligence® clients to understand where issues are occurring in the revenue cycle that are causing excessive manual work and put an action plan in place to resolve them.
The leadership transition reflects MedEvolve’s commitment to driving measurable results for healthcare providers by bringing automation, intelligence, and transparency to every step of the revenue cycle. With Seefeld at the helm, the company will continue to invest in its automation and analytics capabilities, with the addition of a powerful generative AI engine while expanding its footprint in the hospital, physician practice and outsourced medical billing markets.
